The J-600 CD system includes a high energy
throughput double prism monochromator
incorporated with a high intensity 450W
Xenon ARC light source. Employing an
optional red-sensitive photomultiplier, the
J-600 covers a wide spectral range of 175
to 1000nm with constant programmed spectral
bandwidth. A stepper motor-driven
monochromator scans at the maximum scanning
speed to 2500nm under precise control. a 50
kHz piezo elastic modulator(PEM) results in
outstanding stability, low interference
from lamp fluctuations and the quick
response time necessary for kinetic
measurement. The excellent signal-to-noise
ratio of the J-600 contributes to its high
sensitivity below 0.1 m degree/cm. This
